At Northeast Radiology all our imaging centers are ACR® accredited Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence. Becoming a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence is more than a certificate on the wall. The honor recognizes the commitment to quality that Northeast Radiology has made to both breast imaging and to minimally invasive breast biopsies. We have ACR® accreditation in Mammography, Ultrasound, Breast Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Breast Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Stereotactic Breast Biopsy. We were awarded the Breast Imaging Center of Excellence honor by seeking and earning accreditation in all of the ACR’s® voluntary breast-imaging accreditation programs and modules. The requirements for each are detailed if you click on the above listed accreditations.
Northeast Radiology provides a calm, private and compassionate environment in our Women’s Centers. We support or patients with personal services including a breast care coordinator and breast cancer risk assessment.
Breast imaging, whether it is a routine screening or a diagnostic evaluation, can be extremely stressful. Through the years we have learned that much of the stress comes from the anxiety of not knowing your results. To eliminate the anxiety we are proud to offer Results Now™ . This unique program provides you with a preliminary result of your testing while you wait.
